Suki the Horse Recovers from Severe Burns Sustained in Barn Fire

I came across this heart warming story and just had to share it. Suki the Oldenburg suffered severe burns in 2009 all over her face and back in a horrific barn fire. When many owners would have put the mare to sleep, Frances Wade-Whittaker was persuaded by her horse's fiesty spirit to give her a fighting chance at survival.

Breed Spotlight: Poitou Donkey

This wonderfully dreadlocked creature is a French breed of Donkey called a Poitou. The most distinctive physical feature of this Donkey is obviously its long, dreaded coat. This breed of Donkey is incredibly rare. The number of purebred Poitou Donkeys dwindled to only 12 geldings and 13 mares in the 1970's.

Rare Twin Horses Born

A Shire mare recently birthed twin foals in Llandysul, Ceredigion Wales. Twinning is rare in horses. It most often results in the death of one or both twins. But happily that was not the case for show horse mom Penlan Ceri Rose.

Regina of Germany wanted a horse, but her parents said no. So the resourceful teen trained one of the family's cows to ride and jump. The two share a remarkable bond that was cultivated over many hours spent together during training. Two years later "Luna" can hack with best of them. (I especially like Regina's fashion sense and the fact the cow goes in a simple halter.)

I enjoy getting manicures and having nice natural nails, I don't want Arcylics. However, it is always a waste of money because the moment I go ride my manicure is inevitably ruined. That's all changed now thanks to Gelish polish!
