Mufasa X the Shire

Mufasa X has a unique list of talents for a draft horse. He has been trained and promoted in Dressage, Sporthorse Disciplines and even Mounted Police work. "X" also has competed in Halter classes. With a number of Ohio State fair Championships to his name, Mufasa X is a proven winner. His owners describe him as having an excellent work ethic and a quiet mind.

Metheringham Upton Isaac the Shire

Just under a ton and standing 19 hands tall, "Isaac" is a English born Shire horse now competing and winning in the States. According to his owners, Isaac has been attending Equine Affaire in West Springfield, Massachusetts since its birth in 1998. He always draws a crowd, and has been a great ambassador for the Shire breed over the years with his participation in youth presentations, breed demonstrations, and the Pfizer Fantasia.

Luscombe Nodram the Shire

This is Noddy, the current World's Tallest Horse record holder. Noddy is a towering 20.2 hands at the withers; or 6'8" tall. According to his owners, Noddy was a normal height as a weanling for a Shire. The go on to say that, "Nodram enjoys spending his days with famous Thoroughbreds; he is acquainted with some of the top racing horses in Australia . Though one of his mates on the farm is another rare horse, a Suffolk Punch named Nash."

Hit the Jackpot the Gypsy VannerShire

Jackpot is a 17 hand Shire/Gypsy Vanner cross foaled in 2001. Jackpot is super chunky, with pretty much the look of a Gypsy Vanner but with lighter feathering. In every photo I found of him, he has a very calm expression on his face. His owner's describe him as having a willing disposition. Continue reading for a slew more photos and a video of this guy.
