These Smarty Jones babies have the best names! This is Ritzy Jones, a son of Smarty Jones. I have a weakness for the grey Thoroughbreds, I just love them. This slate grey colt looks really sharp in white tack and the blue racing silks of Someday Farm. Ritzy Jones won easily in the slop at Philly Park, breaking his maiden in March of 2009.

Ritzy Jones has now retired from racing and has found a new home in Maryland at Still a Chance Farm. He's started under saddle training and will get a chance at a second career in showing.

Hi, Alena! My name is Jen and the farm I work for, Three Chimneys, used to own Ritzy. We’re THRILLED that he has a good home - we’ve been looking EVERYWHERE for him, to no avail. He’d been claimed from Three Chimneys and we’d been keeping our eye on him. When we planned to claim him back and retire him, he fell off the map and we could never track him down.

Might you be willing to fill us in on how you ended up with him, how he’s doing, and any photos you might be willing to share? You can contact me at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Thank you!

Jen
